PADI Special courses in Sharm-el-Sheikh

These courses are designed to further your knowledge of skills in specific diving activities. Like the Advanced programme, specialty courses have hands on practice with some theory sessions. During these courses you will get in-depth information about an underwater activity that you might need during one of your dive trips or that interests you most.
All specialities can be completed either as a complete course or dive by dive. It is also possible to integrate your chosen course into your dive package. Some of the speciality dives can also be done at night, providing you already have a PADI Night Diver Speciality or one of the PADI Advanced courses.

We offer specialities on any of our live aboard trips.

Drift Diver - one day / 2 dives
Must be a PADI Open Water Diver or Junior Open Water Diver (or have a qualifying certification from another training organization) and be at least 12 years old.
Planning, organization, procedures, techniques, problems and hazards of drift diving. An introduction to drift diving equipment -- floats, lines, reels Buoyancy-control, navigation and communication for drift diving. Site selection and overview of aquatic currents – causes and effects. Techniques for staying close to a boddy or together as a group. Certification counts toward the PADI Master Scuba Diver rating.

Night Diver - two nights / 3 dives
Must be a PADI Open Water Diver or Junior Open Water Diver (or qualifying certification from another organization) and 12 years old.
Dive lights and night diving equipment. Entries, exits and navigation at night
Nocturnal aquatic life. Communication and light handling. Certification counts toward the PADI Master Scuba Diver rating.

Underwater Navigator - two days / 3 dives
Must be a PADI Open Water Diver or Junior Open Water Diver (or qualifying certification from another organization).
Navigation patterns, natural and compass navigation. Following irregular courses with the Nav-Finder. Dive site relocation. Certification counts toward the PADI Master Scuba Diver rating.

Wreck Diver - two days / 4 dives the Thistlegorm
Must be a PADI Adventure Diver certification (or qualifying certification from another organization) and be at least 15 years old.
Certification counts toward the PADI Master Scuba Diver rating. The underwater world needs heroes. Be one. Learn how to conserve the aquatic environment.

Peak Performance Buoyancy - one day / 2 dives
Must be a PADI Open Water Diver or Junior Open Water Diver certification (or qualifying certification from another organization) and 10 years old.
Buoyancy fundamentals, weighting and adjustments. Streamlining, balance and trim. Fine tuning buoyancy and mastering hovering. Certification counts toward the PADI Master Scuba Diver rating.

Enriched Air Nitrox Diver - two days / 2 dives
Must be a PADI Open Water Diver (or qualifying certification from another organization).
Learn to analyze cylinder contents. Plan enriched air dives using tables and dive computers. Safely increase your no stop time. Certification counts toward the Master Scuba Diver rating

Search and recovery - two days / 2 dives
Must be a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver or a PADI Open Water Diver with the PADI Underwater Navigator Specialty (or equivalent certification from another organization).
Must be at least 12 years old. Number of Dives: Four. Search patterns, lift bag use and recovery methods. Limited visibility techniques and navigation for search and recovery.
